For the National Netherlands (NN), two colleagues were working on the incident dashboard. To make it more beautiful, user-friendly and in NN style, Joerian Lazaroms and I have worked out a dashboard design. 

 

Many costs can be saved through insight into real-time incidents. This can be prevented with a clear dashboard. 

Within this assignment, no work was done on a complete design process and the focus was on the elaboration. A dashboard had already been put together internally with the necessary functions. The old version had not yet looked at a good look and feel and user-friendliness. Afterwards we also explained design choices and indicated in which alternative ways something could be changed depending on the context that we did not know.

A design with a design system was delivered in a short time. For me, working with Joerian was a good time to gain more knowledge and experience about setting up a design system. During previous experiences I myself had more focus on the UX Research part and coming up with a good concept. This was a good time for me to also improve in the Design and delivery part and a good start to grow in this. Together with Joerian, we have delivered a great result that will be used internally within Nationale Nederlanden.
