SELEN DÖNMEZ
At RDW, there is a need to combine two existing applications into one integrated RDW application. This new application will allow users to view vehicle data, retrieve information via DigiD, and find details about driving licenses and other vehicle-related information.
I was approached by a colleague who is working on assignment at RDW to work on this application. To achieve this, I started by creating flowcharts to map out the user flows and processes within the new application. These detailed flowcharts help identify bottlenecks and optimization points. Next, I designed wireframes that depict the basic structure and layout of the application. These wireframes serve as the blueprint for further development.
After sketching the basic structure, I determined the visual style of the application. I chose a consistent style that aligns with RDW's branding and enhances user-friendliness. This includes color schemes, typography, and iconography. Finally, I elaborated on four screens that showcase the core functionalities of the application. These screens are designed with attention to detail and usability, forming the foundation for further development and implementation.
