During my work on a project for NIBC, I had the opportunity to design a Power BI dashboard within a month, aimed at supporting product owners. The dashboard needed to provide insights into how compliant a domain, team, or application was within the organization. It was essential that it was not only functional but also user-friendly.

Together with two Business Analysts from Sogeti, I worked on this project, where my responsibility was to design the entire dashboard in Figma. The process began with mapping out the stakeholders' needs. Together with my colleagues, I had extensive discussions with our project managers to understand which data was most relevant to them and how they wanted to use it. These conversations were important to clarify how the dashboard should be structured and which functionalities were necessary. With this input, I started the design in Figma. My task was to make complex compliance data clear and visually appealing, so that product owners could easily see how their domain, team, or application was performing against the set standards. I experimented with different layouts, color schemes, and visual elements such as charts and indicators to create an intuitive design that provided users with the key insights at a glance. Regular consultations with my team and feedback from the stakeholders helped me to further refine the design and fully tailor it to their needs.​
