From the beginning of February 2021 to the end of June 2021 I have been working on my graduation project, to make preparing lessons about robotics easier for primary education teachers. I did an internship at Stichting 010010.

The 010010 Foundation has asked me to find a solution for the problem that the teachers experience with the project book. Stichting 010010 provides the opportunity to prepare students for the changes and the technological future. They offer robotics teaching packages in primary education. The teachers have to give these lessons themselves and are given the project book as a resource. With the project book the teachers can prepare for the lessons. The project book contains necessary worksheets, lesson objectives, important information and lesson plans for the whole year. Feedback from the users showed that during preparation the information in the booklet is not easy enough for the teachers to find. My target audience for this project is primary school teachers.

At the start of the project, I had already heard from the company what the users' opinion was and I had drawn assumptions from this. To confirm these assumptions and to find out to what extent they are correct, I did preliminary research. Within the project I did extensive research using various research methods, to find out which problems arise when preparing for a robotics lesson.

Process

To organize the process, a design process map has been created.	Stakeholders play an important role in research. In this case, the children were also important for my project.	For my project, various research methods were applied. The results of the surveys were compiled into a poster.
In the second poster, the results of a general lesson were included.	To map out the current situation, a User Journey was created.	During my research, I was unable to observe how a regular primary school lesson proceeds due to COVID-19. Therefore, I implemented an alternative method. Thanks to this method, I was able to create an Experience Map of a typical school day.
The Empathy Map was created to map out the needs and habits of my target audience.	Two types of primary school teachers emerged: the more traditional ones and the younger generation of teachers. To visually present all the important insights, I created a chart.	After completing the research phase, I held creative sessions with my team at Stichting 010010. Various techniques were applied during these sessions.	Brainstormsession
